Article comments

When you post a comment, we currently store the name you provide, the comment text, and the time of posting.

Comments are stored permanently once published. They are not editable by the public. They may be removed by the site operator.

Cookies and analytics

The site currently uses a simple first-party analytics layer to understand pageviews, outbound link clicks, and general usage patterns. This is used to improve the site, understand what readers use, and measure whether important sections are being opened.

This first-party setup is intended to avoid advertising-style profiling.
